OAK HARBOR SCHOLARSHIP

Oak Harbor Windermere Foundation Scholarship Application

The Windermere Foundation Scholarship focuses on supporting students with financial need who are pursuing technical/vocational education programs. Any form of continuing education (such as trade/vocational programs, community college, and certificate programs) will be considered for the scholarship. It is the Foundation’s belief that continued education in technical/vocational skills is but one of the ways we at the Foundation can contribute to the eradication of homelessness in our community.

There will be at least two scholarships awarded to applicants in 2023 at the discretion of the Oak Harbor Windermere Foundation Scholarship committee, for an amount up to $2000 each.

Please read all questions carefully, answer completely, and be ready to upload required documents, preferably in .pdf format.

Required Documents include:
1. Letter of Referral
2. Unofficial Current Transcript
3. Essay - An autobiographical essay stating your education aims, career interests, how your community service experiences have affected you, any financial hardships you or your family may have, how you have overcome adversities or obstacles to succeed, and how you believe these Windermere Foundation funds will help you achieve success.
